Two outdoor padel courts on crystal surfaces at Langebaan Country Estate. Open 07:00 to 21:00 Monday to Thursday, until 22:00 on Friday and Saturday, and until 20:00 on Sunday.
Booking is through Playtomic and is open to visitors, not only residents. There is a membership if you are here often — it brings the court rate down and lets you book a fortnight ahead — but you do not need one to play.
If you have never held a padel racket, this is a good place to start. The walls are in play, the serve is underarm, and beginners get rallies going far sooner than they would at tennis.
Times shift with the seasons and the wind. Always double-check directly before heading out, and know your own limits — especially in open water.
