The bigger of the two reserves within reach of Langebaan, and the one to pick if you want predators: lion, buffalo, rhino and leopard, plus cheetah, giraffe, zebra, kudu, eland, oryx and wildebeest across 1,600 hectares. The full guided drive runs about three hours at 09:00 or 14:00, with a shorter ninety-minute option when there's space. The afternoon drive takes in the carnivore feeding, Monday to Saturday. No self-driving, bookings essential, and check in an hour before you leave. It's a fair drive down the R27, so treat it as a day out rather than an afternoon errand.
