    A sunset and moonlight walk for everyone, at any fitness level, on three routes from the Sharkbay Shack: the 2.8 km main loop around the hill, the 2 km Daisy Trail and the 0.9 km beach trail. Bring a torch or headlamp, water, comfortable shoes and a warm jacket. Weather dependent, so join the WhatsApp group for updates on the day.

    Swimmers set off from Preekstoel on 6 km and 12 km courses. The 6 km finishes at Pearly's and the 12 km at Cape Town Fish Market, Mykonos. Entries have closed, but the finishes are worth watching.

    Three days of small-group windsurf coaching with Karo van Tonder, African speed record holder: high wind, rough water, speed and gear tuning. Six to eight riders, intermediate to advanced — you should already water-start, gybe and sail in the footstraps.

    South Africa's slalom windsurf and wing race series, with three or four days of racing if the wind plays along and the Downwind Dash on the Saturday or Sunday, which kiteboarders can enter too. Enter online beforehand; no entry, no bib, no racing. Evenings are braais and beers at Cape Sports, Friday Island and Windtown.

    42.2 km at 06:15, 21.1 km at 06:30, 10 km at 06:45 and a 5 km fun run or walk at 07:45, all finishing at the Langebaan Country Estate driving range. Registration is the day before; entries close on 2 March.
