A relaxed Thursday morning at the wool and haberdashery shop on Industry Slot: two hours of stitching, chatting and making, whether you are starting from scratch or brushing off a skill you had years ago. R100 a class. Yarn and needles are not included, but you get 10 percent off your first in-store purchase for the class, and the shop carries the wool, patterns, hooks and accessories you will need — so you can pick everything up on the day. Spaces are limited, so book your place before you come.
