About this
Line dancing, which is the one kind that asks nothing of you but turning up: there are no partners, so nobody is left standing at the edge waiting to be asked.
Monday evenings are the mixed session, six until seven. Thursday mornings are graded — advanced at nine, intermediate at ten, and beginners at eleven, so there is a room where being new is the whole point rather than something to apologise for.
Rina runs it at the NG Kerk hall and asks for a donation rather than a fee. In her own words, it goes from “I can’t dance” to “look at me dance”, and your feet may get lost but your heart will smile.
Wear something you can move in and shoes that will turn on a wooden floor.
Times shift with the seasons and the wind. Always double-check directly before heading out, and know your own limits — especially in open water.
