About this home
The Lagoon cottage on its own — a quaint West Coast cottage in the old part of Langebaan, one block back from the water. Two bedrooms on the ground floor and a loft bedroom up a ladder under the pitched roof, sleeping six between them, with two bathrooms.
The deck is what guests write about: a long table looking straight down the lagoon, and the sunsets from it. There's a small pool, an outdoor shower, an indoor wood-burning fireplace for winter, and both an indoor and an outdoor braai. A ping pong table, a trampoline and a double kayak come with it, which is why it keeps getting booked by families.
The kitchen is a proper one — gas stove, oven and a dishwasher — and the Wi-Fi and TV stay on through load-shedding on an inverter. There's no washing machine, and you're asked to bring your own beach towels.
It's a residential street and the hosts ask for no parties. Rated 4.88 from 24 reviews, and a Guest Favourite.
