By The Beach sits right on Langebaan's Main Beach on Main Street, with a private gate straight onto the sand. It comes in two configurations: a three-bedroom apartment downstairs that sleeps 6, and a larger home upstairs that sleeps 10 — book either on its own, or take the whole double-storey house for up to 16 across both. Each level has its own kitchen, so two families travelling together don't need to share one.

Upstairs there's an entertainment area with a pool table and an indoor braai room, so a windy West Coast afternoon doesn't cancel the braai. There's a rooftop terrace with a braai as well, which guests come back for the sunset from — it comes up again and again in the reviews. Tezz, the host, is mentioned by name in almost every one of them for the welcome.
