Kite Villa sits fifty metres from Langebaan Main Beach, which puts the lagoon, the shops and the restaurants all within a couple of minutes on foot. The house runs over two levels and sleeps ten across five bedrooms, with four bathrooms and a light, open feel throughout. Mornings work well on the balcony with coffee and a view over the bay, and evenings tend to end there too. There's a braai outside for summer and a wood-burning fireplace inside for the West Coast winter, a bar and games upstairs, and a big screen downstairs for whatever sport is on. The kitchen is properly equipped — gas hob, double oven, dishwasher — and there's fibre Wi-Fi with a wired connection and a desk if some work has to happen. Families and kitesurfing groups both do well here: the West Coast National Park is a five-minute drive and Shark Bay four, with the beach itself barely a minute from the front door.
