A shipping container turned into a small, well-made room for two, with a double bed, a deck under a pergola and its own braai. The curtains are made from recycled kite sails, which tells you most of what you need to know about who it's for.
It's a kitchenette rather than a kitchen — induction hob, microwave, mini fridge, kettle and toaster, with a french press and wine glasses — and there's no TV, no air conditioning and no washing machine. There are lockers for kit, and a washing and drying yard for kites.
The kite beach at the Cape Sports Centre is about 350 m away, and the restaurants on the beachfront are the same walk. Langebaan's town centre is 1.5 km further on. The pool, the lawn and the gated parking are shared with the Kite Studio next door and the owners' own house.
