The Stonehouse

L’Abri is French for “the shelter”, and that is exactly what Judith Lateur hopes it feels like: a peaceful little escape tucked away inside the Oliphantskop Private Nature Reserve, on the quieter side of Langebaan.

The Stonehouse is one of three individually styled self-catering units, each designed for a maximum of two guests and each with its own private entrance and outdoor space. It has a comfortable king-size bed, a private en-suite bathroom, a kitchenette, Wi-Fi, a Smart TV and its own braai facilities. Guests also have access to the communal swimming pool, surrounded by the natural fynbos.

Although it feels wonderfully tucked away, Langebaan’s lagoon, beaches, restaurants and activities are only a short drive from the door.

L’Abri is a place to slow down, switch off and enjoy the quieter side of Langebaan — made for couples after a few peaceful days away, with nature on the doorstep and the town close by.
