Red Bishop Three

The studio of the four — one room for two, done in blues, with a double bed, comfortable seating and an en-suite shower room off it. The kitchenette runs along one wall with a breakfast bar and bar stools in front of it: a fridge/freezer, microwave, two-plate gas hob, kettle, crockery and cutlery.

Outside is a garden area with a braai and a table, looking over the wetland the property backs onto. That view is the point of the place — the red bishop birds nest out there in spring, and there is a mongoose that treats the garden as its own.

Smart TV with Netflix, free Wi-Fi, a private entrance and secure parking behind a motorised gate. Main Beach is about eight minutes away on foot, with shops, restaurants and coffee in between. Linen and towels supplied.
