Sea Front Beach House

A beach house literally on the sand, twenty metres from the water. It is open-plan and light, decorated in an unfussy beach style, with a large covered wooden deck on the sea side and a private pool in a planted garden behind.

The master is en-suite and has a sliding door straight onto the deck, so the view is available without getting up. Five bedrooms sleep eight in total — two kings and the rest singles — across four bathrooms. The house is fully solar powered with inverter backup, and check-in is by lockbox, so you arrive on your own schedule.

One practical note from Sam: parking is on the pavement in front of the house rather than undercover.
