The house is built around a private courtyard with a covered pool that every bedroom and living area opens onto — the walls keep the West Coast wind off, which is rather the point on this stretch of coast. There's a braai beside the pool and an upper deck with lagoon views for sundowners. Five bedrooms and nine beds sleep twelve, in a mix of queens, singles and bunks, so it suits two families sharing: eight adults and four children. Backup power keeps the lights, Wi-Fi and charging going through load-shedding. Please note: no parties, no loud music after 22:00, and as the pool isn't gated, children should be confident swimmers.
